INSTRUCTIONS
Materials:
- Candlestick
- Open area
Step 1: Read “Jack Be Nimble” below.
Step 2: Set down your candlestick in an open area inside or out.
Step 3: Have your child try to jump over the candlestick! It’s fun to replace Jack’s name with your child’s and recite the nursery rhyme as they jump!
Step 4: For an extra challenge, you can also elevate the candlestick and see how high your child can jump!

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY
Complete the “Jack Be Nimble” worksheet with your child’s name. Older children can practice writing their names in the blank spaces! Color the picture and either draw or glue in a picture of your child!
