INSTRUCTIONS
Materials:
- bottle and cork
- paper
- sandbag
- 1 long and 1 short piece of twine
- 2 halves of clasp
- crayons
Step 1: Draw a picture or write a message on the piece of paper.
Step 2: Pour the sand in the bottle. Roll up the paper and also put it in the bottle. Close the bottle with the cork.
Step 3: Tie the short piece of twine around the neck of the bottle. Take the long piece of twine and loop it through that smaller piece.
Step 4: Lace the ends of the clasp onto each end of the twine. Secure each piece with a knot (you may need to trim off the excess twine). Snap the ends of the clasp together!
