5-28-20 Seed Life Cycle

INSTRUCTIONS

Materials:

  • Plant life cycle template (3pcs)
  • Crayons
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Metal brad

Step 1

Color all three piece of the template.

Step 2

Cut the life cycle pictures along the dotted lines.

Step 3

Discuss the life cycle of a plant and review the terms. Show your child the pictures as you explain. Then, let your child put them in order. Match the pictures to the correct terms and glue the pictures into place.

Let the glue dry.

Step 4

Once the glue is dry, align the top of the wheel over the bottom. Use something sharp to puncture a hole through both layers and secure the metal brad to the back of the wheel.

If you didn’t already finish your “Flowers” coloring packet, finish it today (with the exception of the checklist page).

Have an at-home science exploration of “seeds that we eat”. Find and try some of these foods and explain to your child that they are all seeds.
