INSTRUCTIONS
Materials:
- Dinosaur toys
- Paint
- Paper
Step 1
Pick the colors of paint you want to use and put paint in a flat dish or palette. If you want to incorporate color-mixing into this activity, use primary colors (red, blue, yellow). You can use as few or as many colors as you want.
Step 2 (optional)
Cover your workspace. You can also cover your whole workspace in blank paper, instead of using the one sheet provided. This way, your child can use the whole space for play.
Step 3
Dip the feet of your dinosaurs’ feet in paint and track them along the paper! Let your child free play with the dinosaurs, let them finger paint, mix colors, and explore! (You can always clean up later.)
FINISHED PRODUCT
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY
Color some pages in your “Dinosaurs” book and read to learn about different dinosaurs. Older children can also practice tracing the names of the dinosaurs!
