INSTRUCTIONS
Materials:
- 2 bamboo skewers
- 2 pool noodles
- 2 foam sails
- Any stickers (optional)
Step 1 (optional)
Attach stickers to sails.
You can also draw on the foam with markers but it’s more difficult.
Step 2
Stick the pointed part of the bamboo skewer through the top of the sail from front to back.
Then, pierce it through the bottom from back to front.
Slide the sail toward the blunt side of the skewer.
Step 3
Stick pointed end of each skewer into the pool noodles.
Now it’s time to sail them!
Note: I ended up cutting my skewer after this step because it was too long.

Complete “On Water Transportation” worksheet and the “Boat Cut out” sheet.
Younger children may have trouble with the cutting page, so they can just color it. Older children will benefit from the fine motor practice of cutting along the dotted lines!
