INSTRUCTIONS
Materials:
- Bus template
- crayons
- 2 circle cutouts
- 1 yellow tissue paper square
- Glue
Step 1
Color entire school bus yellow.
Step 2
Color wheels black.
Step 3
Apply glue to headline and middle of wheels.
Step 4
Crumble tissue paper and apply it to headlight. Also glue circles to the wheels.
Step 5
If your child is able, have them draw people in the windows of the bus. Maybe they want to draw people they know. Maybe they want to draw the characters in “The Wheels on the Bus”. Maybe the people have different emotions. It’s just important to have conversation with your child!

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY
Bus counting game:
Using the laminated bus template provided, use a dry erase or washable marker to write a number on the body of the bus. Let your child use bingo chips to count out that number, placing the chips in the windows of the bus.
You can use this tool to practice number recognition and counting numbers 1-10!
