This home-based program has been designed to offer parents the tools, supplies and resources they need to implement a stimulating curriculum, so their children will grow, progress and excel academically. Our state-of-the-art virtual program includes a monthly subscription with a newsletter, calendar, daily interactive morning meeting, craft (all supplies included), and virtual story time. The package also contains a weekly music and movement video, a dance video, a sing-along video and a new book in addition to, various coloring sheets, worksheets, activities, and experiments. Packages can be delivered or picked up locally or shipped to you.

Our program utilizes developmentally appropriate practices that foster children’s love of learning, as well as, provide experiences which allow all children to thrive. It also focuses on the development of vital academic skills and social confidence. Our carefully planned curriculum is tailored to the level of development for each child. Each step of development leads us towards the building of a firm academic foundation. We wish to provide a stimulating learning environment for every child. Our program is skillfully planned, so that each child will benefit from all learning experiences, however it is very important for the child to obtain reinforcement at home. We encourage the parents to continue discussions at home and expand on concepts reviewed in school in order to maximize learning potential. A monthly newsletter and calendar are provided to the parents to keep them informed of lesson plans, theme units, activities and school events. Our play-based hands on curriculum includes technology, literacy, science, social studies, math, music, exercise, storytelling, and various arts and crafts. Children will have opportunities for both whole group and independent explorations and learning. Our children will also enjoy the benefits of our private enclosed outdoor playground. Students will receive progress reports twice a year to assess growth and development.

Shining Stars offers both a full-time and part-time program. Our regular school program is offered from September through June. Summer camp is also available in July and August. Child medical form must be completed by your pediatrician with an immunization form attached.
ACS vouchers accepted.
Tuition is to be paid on a monthly basis and is due on the first of each month.
There is a non-refundable registration fee of $175.00 that must accompany each enrollment application.

A $75 registration and insurance fee should be paid upon registration. This fee is not part of camp tuition and is non-refundable. Registration fee and tuition is due no later than the first day of camp. Necessary forms can be found under registration. Please look at our camp brochure for more information.
School holidays include Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Recess, Christmas Recess, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Winter Break, Spring Break, Memorial Day, and mandatory staff development days. A tentative school calendar will be provided with exact dates of holidays and other school closings.
